Bryan received a bachelors degree in Software Engineering, a Masters in Computer Science, and currently is a Ph.D research student in the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU). Bryan works as a research student in the Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing (CUbiC) and is apart of the ASU IGERT program, Alliance for Person-centered Accessible Technologies (APAcT). Bryan's research interests span the following areas: sensory substitution/augmentation, human-computer interaction, haptics, and assistive technologies. His current research is in the use of haptics and how it can be used to augment the way non-visual travelers access details of their immediate surroundings through the sense of touch.
